My interpretation of this music video is that Calvin Harris realizes that the world can be altered with mere thought.  Just by thinking or perceiving that something is true or false, it becomes your reality.  In “My Way”, his mind is able to make anything possible happen like if a girl is attractive or not simply by his train of thought.  Cars disappear, satellite dishes crumble, and girls change costumes.  He even thinks that there is a line-dance party happening in his barn after possibly taking some off-the-market recreational drugs.  However, after second thought, I believe that the barn dance could be the implicit empty road to freedom with any suitable woman from the klan that are trying to masquerade him with their suggestive dancing.  It could even be his daydream can be fabricated by mere placement or deletion of objects inside a holographic world of bits and bytes.

If you verbatim read the first paragraph, it means that no matter what he tries to achieve, Harris’ objectives fall short as he is unable to control over the situation.  The second paragraph he repeats that the so-called perception of a girl is the only thing in “his” way or only thorn in his path to perceptual “control” of the universe.  The heavy undertones of the music video foreshadows that Harris has had a past relationship where he feels out of control no matter how he perceives the situation or everything is going wrong like Final Destination 2 (a.k.a. Murphy’s Law).  If you look closely at the first paragraph, you will see that he is implying that his perceived world “lies awake” and is “two faced”.  No matter how much enjoyment he gets from “controlling” the line dancing in the barn in the middle of farmland, he doesn’t feel in control of his life and nonchalantly progresses through the normal rituals of life.  Also, another point that comes from the cinematography point-of-view is that world is a facade that can easily be destroyed internally by mere energy fields around us that are invisible if you follow astrology.

1. Schools should be teaching all different government types from papers!
2. Schools should be teaching all types of music (not just MSM) from papers!
3. Schools should be teaching history from unabridged papers, not redacted textbooks!
4. Schools should be teaching art from papers, not redacted textbooks!
5. Schools should be teaching more languages from other countries!
6. Schools should be teaching more than the dominant languages!

If the school cannot find qualified faculty to achieve this, school should be eliminated and we should go to homeschooling!

The future for human-power search engine would be pretty cool if there was a human-powered search engine that had filters based on keyword analysis at a syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic level so it could get from the askers to the possible responders automatically without human operators.  Similar to the Star Trek’s badge walkie-talkie, this would allow spatio-temporal queries that would be place and time-sensitive so that you can pay different amount of nano payments depending on the time-sensitiveness and the proximity to the location where the queries is being asked.  Possible applications could include distributed security, Alexa-like but conversational questions with a Mechanical Turk-like polling mechanisms, with HaloLenses-like visualizations, and Aardvark-like ML and NLP engine filtering the questions.

“No one is waiting right now.”
